In partnership with the Episcopal Church of the Nativity, we present "Blind, but now I see: Discipleship and Spirituality in Mark's Gospel," April 20-22, 2018. Join us as we gather to learn and grow with the Reverend Bonnie Thurston, PhD., a pastor, a poet, a retired professor of New Testament, and a leader in the scholarly study of Thomas Merton. A native of southern West Virginia, Dr. Thurston lives quietly near Wheeling, West Virginia having resigned the William F. Orr Professorship in New Testament at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary in 2002. She earned the B.A. in English from Bethany College in Bethany, West Virginia, and M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in English from the University of Virginia.
Opening reception at 5:15 PM on Friday, April 20. All events will be held at the Episcopal Church of the Nativity in downtown Greenwood. Turnrow will be on hand to sell books at each event - or books can be pre-ordered here on the website. For more information and a complete schedule, visit Nativity's website.
